The Doomed Bird of Providence’s third album is in the final stages of recording. It’s a real departure from the first two albums and of the three releases has probably had the most time involved in planning it out. I feel confident in saying that it sounds amazing to me. This is primarily a result of the wonderful playing by those involved in recording it and their capacity to take the ideas and make them sound so much better than I imagined. Peter Aldrich, who created the art for the last few releases, will be providing the art for the album. Justin from Front & Follow has kindly agreed to release it. I’d like to thank those who’ve maintained an interest in what the band do and hope you’ll enjoy the album when it comes out. I expect this to be some time in the first half of 2017.
